Grealish left out again as Everton beat Newcastle without him
Jack Grealish was absent from Everton's squad for a second successive game against Newcastle after breaching club discipline.
Jack Grealish has been left out of Everton's squad for a second time in a week following a disciplinary breach. The 31-year-old Manchester City loanee missed training without authorisation before Everton's 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Newcastle last Thursday and was again unavailable for Monday's 1-0 Premier League victory at St James' Park, with the club citing lack of fitness for the second omission. Manager David Moyes backed the initial discipline decision but remained vague about Grealish's current status, saying only that he was 'unavailable at the moment' and that a way back existed for him. Thierno Barry scored in both victories.
