Emery returns to Camp Nou with Aston Villa to face Barcelona
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery returns to Barcelona's Camp Nou to face the club in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery returns to Barcelona's Camp Nou to face the club in the Champions League on Tuesday. Emery previously managed Paris Saint-Germain, who lost 6-4 at the same stadium in a quarter-final in March 2017 after leading 4-0. The trip marks a significant moment for Villa, who the BBC reports are looking to become the first English team to win at the Nou Camp in almost 20 years. Emery joined Villa four years ago and has since won the Europa League, achieving his stated aims to win a trophy and play in Europe. The Daily Mail reports Barcelona are favourites, with Emery noting the clash represents 'elite football'.
